Chief Executive Officer
Eddie Latimer is the founding director of The Resource Foundation, Inc. and is also the CEO of Affordable Housing Resources, Inc. (AHR), the sister organization of Resource. With Latimer as CEO, Resource and AHR have developed and sold over 1,000 single-family units and helped over 15,000 individuals and families with home-purchasing assistance through lending and counseling programs.
Mr. Latimer has 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Mr. Latimer is Chairman of Tennessee Housing and Development Agency's Board of Directors, member of the Board of Directors of the National NeighborWorks Association, Steering Committee Member of NeighborWorks America's National Campaign for HomeOwnership, member of the External Relations Lobbying Committee for National NeighborWorks Association, member of the Fannie Mae National Housing Advisory Council, board member of the Chamber of Commerce's Housing Committee, past chair of Nashville's Affordable Housing Forum, founding member of the Association of Non-Profit Executive Directors, board member of the Rotary Club of Nashville, 2002 Leadership Team of Leadership Nashville, the Nashville Enterprise Zone, board member of the Mayors Homestead Corp., and the past president of the Nashville Youth Hockey League.
Mr. Latimer holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, and has studied theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Robert L. Whittington
President
Robert Whittington has over 13 years of experience in affordable housing development and property management. His work includes the areas of affordable housing law, finance, development, management and regulatory compliance - the latter including Rural Development, HUD, low-income housing tax credit, HOME and investor compliance issues. He has developed and rehabilitated 24 multi-family, affordable, rental housing complexes financed through USDA, Rural Development, HUD, HOME funds and low-income housing tax credits. Mr. Whittington is also responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance and regulatory compliance of 93 multi-family rental properties comprising 3,842 units located throughout the States of Louisiana and Mississippi.
In 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Whittington drew upon his data maintenance and reporting experience to design and implement the start-up and rapid growth of Resource's Contact and Data Center to service the call and maintenance routing and reporting needs of persons living in 23,000+ FEMA trailers. This project employed approximately 80 persons and generated and reported on over 140,000 work orders and an additional 100,000 preventive maintenance inspections in under a year. Resource's Contact and Data Center has also provided web programming and data management services-as well as supporting call center services-for NeighborWorks® America and the FDIC to assist disaster victims through consumer information sessions occurring throughout the Gulf Coast region. In addition, Resource's Contact and Data Center has played an active role in the rebuilding efforts in the States of Louisiana and Mississippi by developing and hosting customized web-based software solutions with accompanying call center support designed to facilitate intake, counseling, housing placement and other needed services for disaster victims.
Mr. Whittington graduated with honors in Economics from the University of Chicago and received his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from the Harvard Law School. He has been designated as a SPECTRUM Certified Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance Professional (C4P) and is SPECTRUM S.T.A.R. certified as a Rural Development management professional. In addition, he has received training on Fair Housing and Section 504 regulations and requirements. He has also delivered training presentations on the subject of avoiding low-income housing tax credit compliance pitfalls.
Mr. Whittington serves on the boards of the Louisiana Association of Affordable Housing Providers and the Rural Rental Housing Association of Louisiana. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge and the South Baton Rouge Presbyterian Church.
